The Guide of LED Light Strips Selection

LED strips have gradually become more and more popular in the market. You can replace incandescent strips and some fluorescent tubes as well. With the rapid development of LED technology, it allows users to apply a wide range of tasks. Here are some key features of LED strips to help consumers to select the most suitable.

The most important is probably the type and size of the LEDs included, which determine the brightness or performance. Another determinant of the performance is, of course, the number of LEDs in the range of one meter for example. The higher the number, the brighter the band is, the numbers, although very high within a meter often requires special technologies such as double-wide strip - if the LED is not registered in only one after the other, but in two or three rows next to each other. Strips including a large number of LED always check their disposal, since the LED placed too close together can emit heat and radically in the life of the band.

The range of LED colors is now endless, because any color can be created using the RGB technique. There are usually two or three shades of white, bright white, or cold - the blue version, a bright white, warm white - which is more yellow as the sun, and natural white - which is a combination of both in varying degrees. The white color temperature measured in degrees Kelvin, and a higher color temperature (5000 K) are the cool white or blue and the lowest (2700 to 3000 K) are white hot.

Flexible strips are usually in a single dimension, which is exactly the direction of the LED can be significant. The most common types of LED lighting strips are so if for example, to get the wheel to look for the side-mounted or side-view strips, in order to shape the right direction.

The voltage of the LED strip should always be reviewed before implementation. Strips of network performance are often used, but most LED strips require a transformer, and operating at low voltage (usually 12 or 24 V). If the strips need a transformer, make sure it is suitable for LEDs, transformers, since most of the time the LED from ruin.

The IP number of strips or electrical device consists of two numbers, indicating the degree of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact and water in boxes. If you are planning to install strip lights outdoors in wet or damp, or underwater to then items must be partially or completely waterproof. 100% waterproof is IP 68 rated items.

How wide are the strips of color on show jumping poles?

Sometimes the pole is half one colour and half another. Sometimes its divided into thirds with the two outer sides being the same colour etc. There is no exact measurement!!! i take it you are painting your poles? There are many many different designs on poles. if it is not for show purposes basically do what ever you think looks nice, it will only benefit your horse for him to have to jump crazy unusual colours and patterns :) if it is for a show, divide your poles into halves, thirds and quarters with a pencil and usually only two/three colours per pole looks the best. What also looks nice is inbetween each colour you can do small strips of white to divide the colours neatly after you have painted the main colours :)
