Most environmentally friendly way to commercially print t-shirts?
I am interested in going into the business of printing t-shirts however I want to do it in a way that has the least negative repercussions for the environment. For this reason, I will not do Silk Screening and will only buy the blank shirts from companies that do not cause a heavy C02 load.
Is DTG a good option regarding ink types and required cotton content of t-shirt material?
Any suggestions out there? i would like to work with bamboo fabric as well.
i don't know exactly what you are taking about. I know there are forums exclusively for silk screening and dying and thing tha is a better place for you to learn.
I do know that there are environmentally friendly dyes that can be used for silk screening.
Also, bamboo can be one of the fabrics that you use but I wouldn't use it exclusively. Bamboo has a stretch like spandex so for many items it would not provide the correct shape for the garment.
